CCF Tea Recipe

The Ayurvedic CCF (Cumin, Coriander, and Fennel)  tea is amazing for the digestive system because it aids with the absorption of nutrients! This tea balances all of the doshas and is very easy to make!

Ingredients

½ tsp of cumin seeds

½ tsp of fennel seeds

½ tsp of coriander seeds

5-6 cups water

Boil water in a stainless steel pot, then add all of the seeds, boil for 5-10 minutes, strain the seeds, then add liquid to a thermos to sip throughout the day. Enjoy!

Hot Apple Breakfast

This is an amazing gut healing breakfast!

This  recipe helps you start the day off with a dosha balancing breakfast. It will help increase the gut friendly bacteria and allow for better absorption especially if eaten regularly. I tried this for 21 days in a row and it reset my digestion completely!

For one serving

1 apple

2 cloves

1 date

1 tsp of ghee

A dash of cinnamon

Enough water to cover the apples

Peel and chop the apple. Chop the date. Add all of the ingredients to a small saucepan. Cover with enough water. Bring the water to medium high heat then let cook on medium low until the apples are soft. Say a blessing and remove the cloves before enjoying!
